We purchased these towers new, then bought a new car within a year, which required different towers. These have only been used for under a year, and for only one trip with a kayak and Rocketbox on the roof. There are four towers, and they come with the rubber pads and plastic covers as shown.

: These do NOT come with the required clips you'll need for your specific vehicle. Visit Yakima's website to determine the additional clips you'll need for your car.
These towers will be shipped in a Yakima box showing a different set of towers (it's just the box from the new towers for our newer car). So, don't be confused by the packaging when it arrives.
