  • Condition: Excellent condition, 3 small 1/4" punctures on the back (all cloth is there, would be easy to repair), appear to have all original buttons, but maybe one as it is not as shiny as the others. At the bottom of the left side pocket, there is a 1/2" area that the stitching did not seem to catch. No other rips or tears or stains that I find. They really appear as they were never worn.

    Description

    This is a pair of vintage K. Begemann green wool military pants.
    I measure 34" for the waist, it does have several buttons on each side to cinch it up tighter.  The inseam measures 28" but as the crotch area was baggy, it will probably fit longer.  The measurement from the waist to the outer hem at the side is 39".  The hip is about 46" (I measured at the top of the side pocket flap across).  These were baggy pants!! There are 6 pockets, 2 in front, 2 mid leg on the side, and 2 in the back.
    The material is doubled from the crotch to below the knee.  There are suspender loops, and there are snaps at the hem.  There is a 1/2" area at the bottom of the left side pocket where the stitching did not quite catch all the material.  There are 3 about 1/4" punctures in the pants, but the material is all there so it's an easy repair.  Otherwise these are in amazing condition.  They really don't look like they were ever worn.  I'm not sure if they are 100% wool or a wool blend, but they are heavy.  No moth damage that I can tell.  Amazing piece of history.
