This salesman sample
miniature
footstool, ottoman, or bench makes for an unusual article of home decor to be sure. Crafted by Freeman & Company of Thomasville, NC, it is finely and beautifully made of mahogany, and is upholstered with urethane foam rubber covered by a lively 1970s era Missoni-like zig-zag pattern fabric. Not only do the fabric colors complement contemporary color schemes, but the article is adorably cute and appealing. From what seller can determine by searching on the web, Freeman & Co. appears to have closed its doors in 1997; the address that appears on the label looks to date back to the 1980s.
This
small footstool
measures a mere 9 1/2 inches tall by 9 3/4 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches deep. A small child, cat, stuffed animal, or large ceramic figure would fit on it nicely! Photos with the champagne bottle include the bottle to show size and scale; the
bottle is empty, and NOT included.
Footstool has been kept in a non-smoking household and carries no odor.
