    Description

    A stunning pair of official mess dress trousers, made from black wool with a scarlet galon stripe/blood stripe running down each leg. The letters “CC” and the name “ORR, S. M.” with serial number “3128” are printed inside the waistband. The United Garment Workers of America union label inside the rear pocket can be dated to between 1930 and 1955, before the AFL merged with the CIO; label is of the “Special Order” variation. Three pockets (two rear, one watch), suspender buttons, Talon zipper closure. Excellent vintage condition, some minor signs of age and use, but magnificent overall; approx. size 30/31.
