    1998 Royal Canadian Mint 90th Anniversary Sterling Silver Coin Set.
    This set was struck to commemorate the opening of the Royal Canadian Mint on January 1908.  All of these coins are minted in Sterling Silver with the original 1908 designs with an ANTIQUE FINISH, including the 1 cent Copper-plated on .925 silver.
    In 1998, to commemorate the ninetieth anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint, the Mint's master engravers have reproduced the original 1908 designs with an antique finish presented in a
    handsome red leather box
    The obverse of each coin bears the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
